Interesting enough, for a non-english (e.g. I and my wife) speaker, my wife thought I was listening to Pink Floyd's Another Brick In The Wall! At first I couldn't connect the two, but then I "changed" my mind to my native language and I can see a lot of similarities in the lyrics too. This was a really weird moment... :) [VIDEO]
Read original comment ↗You mean the meat grinder[1]? You can click stuff for their reference, for that one it’s the teacher spanking the student. [1]: [VIDEO]
Read original comment ↗I am certain a world full of autodidacts would supersed the university system we see today. For these autodidacts the universe might truly become a "University of Life". I am also certain that the true barriers keeping most people from becoming autodidacts are not financial or social but rather built by the schooling system into our minds. This schooling system itself was probably setup to create obedient soldiers and weapons technicians so as to win wars. Can someone please queue Pink Floyd's "Another Brick In The Wall" [1]? Read original comment ↗I'm here to tell you that in 1989 we really didn't have any trouble with critical thinking on the topic of going to high school on any given Wednesday. Guided by key 20th century American[0] and British[1] thought leaders we were developing and refining these theories of "immutable necessity" in suburban cars and convenience store parking lots on a regular basis.
