First realize what is going on and why, watch the science video, then manufacturing consent then the rest. The elites fear political awakening, thats why all this is happening. First, our brains are much worse at reality and thinking than thought. Science on reasoning: [VIDEO] The (mass surveillance) by the NSA and abuse by law enforcement is just more part and parcel of state suppression of dissent against corporate interests. They're worried that the more people are going to wake up and corporate centers like the US and canada may be among those who also awaken. I helped make Haiti and Cuba a decent place for the National City Bank boys to collect revenues in. I helped in the raping of half a dozen Central American republics for the benefits of Wall Street. The record of racketeering is long. I helped purify Nicaragua for the international banking house of Brown B
Read original comment ↗"Empires are not monolithic." First see the science on reasoning, your brain is not the reasoning god you think it is: [VIDEO] Which is meaningless, what is the evidence of the US imposing laws on countries that are not of the US? AKA are corporations getting their way? If we go by evidence, there is no democracy and their power is quite monolithic. Consider that these laws have been growing in power for 200 years almost, so don't buy the 'the creators are hurting and the evil pirates are stealing' argument, the public domain is completely destroyed (aka freedom to own, modify, repair software, own and update video games, etc). AKA ownership is being taken away completely from you in a one sided deal where they have total control. [LINK] Crisis of democracy [LINK]
Read original comment ↗>Why is it then that over the entire industry, over the entire world, women are under-represented? Because women are smart and weak, and I don't mean that in a negative way. Women's evolutionary history over time was to find a strong man who has resources, hence women's evolutionary programming isn't geared for technological trenches of insane work hours and dedication of 20 something youths. Women have an ovulatory cycle, and the enlightenment was wrong about human reasoning and human functioning. Most of our surface behaviour is controlled by unconscious processes. See here about reasoning: [VIDEO]

Read original comment ↗"So, my question, what is this feeling? How does the brain recognize that it should have this feeling?" If we take the idea seriously that the universe is unified and all knowledge is unified, then it would be safe to treat the universe as a single entity. AKA everything is related to everything else in a whole host of mundane and non mundane ways that human beings are not aware of given the limits on the human brain/body and the time and energy required to process that information. AKA all the truth is there (the universes structure and its relationships). Rather our mind is busy highlighting things that are interesting, it's just the brain buildings models and finding interesting links unconsciously and when its done we get an update. AKA most thinking is done all the time unconsciously without our awareness of it. See the science: [VIDEO]
Read original comment ↗>There is a lot of evidence that we should be very afraid of the state if you look at Verfassungsschutz activities. It goes way beyond that, all elites of all nations are afraid of their publics and are basically already implementing soft versions of martial law behind the scenes. The media being complicit. You should, the elite are locking down the planet and most people are too stupid and uninformed. Most won't believe it because it goes against belief in corporate ideology. Read original comment ↗" is that as IoT devices become more and more ubiquitous, I'll probably still end up with some kind of quasi-surveillance garbage in my house." This is the natural result of free market capitalism and private property, property owners (corporations) want to protect it and their profits from the plebians. So they buy the governments and strip plebians of their rights. Our brains are much worse at reality and thinking than thought.
