I thought this was "hip" or whatever you want to call it, and pretty clever for a long term hearts-and-minds strategy -- [VIDEO]
Read original comment ↗Their newest ads are pretty awesome. Surface's dancing ad [LINK] , the IE9 dubstep [LINK] , the IE10 troll [VIDEO] , and the various Windows 8 international musical ads (the wave after the countdown ad) [LINK] [LINK] and [LINK] are definitely a step way up from previous ad campaigns that Microsoft launched. All in all, the Windows 8 ads are IMO fresh, and definitely leaning more towards the younger adult hip side. And they're pulling it off pretty nicely.

Read original comment ↗A few days ago, a Microsoft employee who has worked on Windows 7 and 8 said on a Reddit AMA: "There is no doubt that we have catching up to do.
