So close! Enticing checkerboard pattern and some unshaded wood texturing then a hard crash for Firefox Android 68.5.0. Evokes the early 90s which reminds me that anyone who hasn't seen the "Community" episode with the VR parody must watch it immediately: [VIDEO] (this seems to be a super-cut which will annoy the writers, bit still)
Read original comment ↗No I had not! It seems like what I was thinking. Take the same idea and put it into Unreal Engine. Add further OS interactions like files, maybe a floating virtual window for web browsing etc. The UX has to be done very well though otherwise you are a prediction by TV show Community: [VIDEO]
Read original comment ↗That's really all I ask. I doubt very much that any movement in virtual space is going to be as efficient as a keyboard and mouse, so just let me see everything and call it a day. Relevant community commentary on the potential ridiculousness of VR interfaces: [VIDEO]
Read original comment ↗Ok then, the community VR episode [VIDEO] "The font is larger! and Jesus wept for there were no more worlds to conquer."

Close apps by scrunching their screen like paper. A globe with my geotagged pictures. I respect Apple for not doing this. These are demos that are kind of fun for 20 minutes but you would never want to actually use a device like this: [VIDEO]
Read original comment ↗Oh wow, I just realized that the following VR parody might have been inspired by Microsoft Bob : [VIDEO] (2015, so 4 years before Zuckerberg committed to the Metaverse enough to rename the whole company, and still 1 year before the first commercial new generation VR headset : Oculus Rift released.)
